Rotating text ??

I am doing a floor plan in MS Word (Office 2000) and want to put numbers
on objects, but I want to rotate some of the numbers to be read from
the side. I was using TextBox, but it will not allow me to rotate.

Assuming your Word version includes it - try WordArt.

for Word 2000+, try Format > Text Direction
